How does it work?
We can facilitate a direct transfer of your information and data from one computer to another on your network. Both computers would need to be connected to the same network and have an active internet connection to facilitate our Remote Support to you.
What can you transfer?
We offer different levels of service:
1. We can transfer your documents, images, music, videos, desktop files, and any other specific files or folders you would like to have transferred to a new system.
2. We can transfer application data from one system to another. This includes application specific settings and other personal data that you have built over time.
What can't you transfer?
We cannot transfer software from one computer to the next without re-installation of the pre-existing software application being used prior to the transfer. However, we can assist in the installation process, but you, as the customer, are responsible for providing activation keys and license information for desired applications to be installed.
Do you install software?
If you have software that you need moved from one system to another, we will assist in the installation of the software and the transfer of the data from your old application.
To facilitate this, the customer will have to provide Software Activation keys and licenses where applicable. Examples include, but are not limited too: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Sage, Adobe, Kofax products, etc.
